This piece was an exploration in layering and blending watercolor while wet. The colors blend and fade into each other.
This measures 18 inches by 24 inches and is on 140lb watercolor paper.
Liquid watercolor, pan watercolor and semi-moist tempera add energetic bursts of color.
The edges of the painting are paper white and measure roughly 1/4 of an inch all around. This looks beautiful in a larger frame with a mat of your choosing.
Sealed with archival quality matte varnish.
