"Cycle" - Original Watercolor Painting

Created in 2023.

This is the first watercolor painting of 2023! I often switch to various media but I always come back to creating with watercolor because it is so fun to experiment with the brushstrokes and colors. This painting helped remind me that it's ok to create in cycles and explore other media.

This measures 18 inches by 24 inches and is on 140lb watercolor paper.

Liquid watercolor, pan watercolor and semi-moist tempera add energetic bursts of color.

The edges of the painting are paper white and measure roughly 1/4 of an inch all around. This looks beautiful in a larger frame with a mat of your choosing.

Sealed with archival quality matte varnish.
