"Sherbet" - Original Watercolor Painting

The colors of this painting remind me of the sherbet that my mom loved. There are citrus inspired pops of orange and yellow with hints of green. This measures 18 inches by 24 inches and is on 140lb watercolor paper. Liquid watercolor, pan watercolor and Inktense blocks were layered together to create this painting. Splashes of semi-moist tempera add energetic bursts of color.
The edges of the painting are paper white and measure roughly 1/4 of an inch all around. This looks beautiful in a larger frame with a matte opening cut a little smaller than the painting.
Sealed with archival quality matte varnish.
